High Detail Professional Detailing is the data controller for the personal information described below. We handle your data in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
- Contact details: name, address, phone number, email.
- Vehicle details: registration, make, model, service history relevant to work carried out.
- Booking, subscription and job records.
- Photos of work carried out (used for internal records and, only with your permission, marketing).
- Payment metadata handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
Why we use it
- To provide the services and subscriptions you request.
- To contact you about bookings, quotes and account matters.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
- To improve our services and, where you have opted in, to send occasional updates.
Who we share it with
We share limited data with trusted providers who help us run the business: Stripe (payments), our email and hosting providers, and accountants. We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
Customer and job records are kept for up to 7 years to meet UK tax and accounting rules. Marketing preferences are kept until you unsubscribe.
